Default I am brand new at this

I have just recently decided to start the ideal protein diet. I spent a few days exploring it on line and came across this site! I LOVE IT! My appointment for my intake at Ideal Protein on this coming Tuesday. I am excited about starting. I have spent a lot of time researching it and know some people personally that have lost weight and kept it off using this method. I have fought with my weight since my thirties. I appreciate all that you offer here and I am so glad I found you. I look forward to the information and support you provide! THANKS in advance!

Ana-I believe you have to be here for 20 days and have 20 posts before you can create a ticker in your signature block.

Default Question

Hey Everyone,

I recently made a pact with my dad that if he can lose 200 pounds in 4 months then I will pay him $200 but if he does not reach his target weigh loss then he has to pay me.

We each set aside $50/month and the result was that he lost 20 pounds and I lost $200. Guess you can call it a win-win situation for him lol

Losing the best couldn't of made me any happier because he was struggling to lose weight so $200 is a small price to pay to see him healthy.

From this whole scenario an idea popped into my head. What if I turn this into a business where people choose their target goal, time frame, and the amount they want to bet.

Would greatly appreciate your honest feedback. Thanks in advance

I'm trying to lose weight but I'm kinda struggling and i don't know what I'm doing wrong I'm so unhappy with my body and I really want to lose weight, I'm ready to do it. Does anyone have any ideas about what I should eat and what exercises I should do and how long for. I'd really appreciate it.
