Smile Introducing myself...

Hello all,

I have been a regular lurker here for some time and thought it time to say hi. I am a 28 year old Londoner and mature student, intending to be at a 'normal weight' (at least to have a healthy BMI) before I am thirty. I have been overweight all of my adult life, my lowest weight being about 166 and highest 220.

For the past 7 weeks I have been following a great plan, based on eradicating food intolerances and also attempting to heal candida and other health problems. It has been working well - I have lost 17lb (possibly more - weigh in tomorrow!), I am feeling great and my attitude has shifted from concentrating only on the scales and how I look, to thinking about health, and wanting to make this a permanent life change and to have great health.

In 2006 I hope to regain my fitness - at various times in my life I have been extremely fit, but have a tendency to become obsessive around exercise and food (that old all-or-nothing approach!), so I want to take it easy. My fitness goals are to have a lean strong body, and become adept at yoga. Long term, I would love to take up the Brazilian martial art/ sport/ ritual of Capoeira and to dance.

So, looking forward to getting to know you all, and giving and receiving support.

Much love,
Luna

Hi there! I feel welcome, being that I just started a little over a week ago. I live in Mobile Alabama, usa. I also have been trying to be healthier, and I love your out look on this situation.
I am 37, soon to be 38, mother of two, and my lowest was 166. yeeeeears ago. My highest was 270, about 3 years ago. I am now 236.I have lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. I knw real fast, but I cut out baked goods, and started drinking water, oh yeah, and taking vitamins. I count calories. 1200 to 1500 a day. I work and take care of my family, so I stay pretty active.
I hope you enjoy 3FC, I know I do.
Look foward to hearing from you,
Doll

WELCOME!!
I also did yoga for quite a while. Until I hurt my back to the point I have a very hard time trying to straighten up & relax at the same time. But in time, I'll heal.
Make yourself at home. Everyone is so friendly around here!
