Hey all! My name's Kim & I'm here because I need some weight loss support after having my now 3-1/2 month old baby girl! I have roughly close to 50 lbs. to go to get to my ideal weight. I'm hammering at it with the South Beach diet, and am happy to share recipes & support with whomever would like it!
Thanks! SoBe is definitely a bit rough in the first 2 wks! But, I did it before & lost 23 lbs! I know if I can just make it through the 2 wk. period I'll have it much easier off! What are you doing to get weight off? Good luck & if you need a buddy, I'd be happy to support! OH, and thanks about my daughter's name...we feel it suits her well...it means "graceful oak tree"...just take that metaphorically!
I am doing the weight watchers points plan and I just started back today. The first day is always the hardest for me. Thankfully the day is almost over.
Hi there, I am also a new member, but I know what you are going through with having a new baby. I had twin boys and then 16 months later a little girl. I was doing pretty well getting the weight off with the boys but once she came along it just piled up and up. I just got off the cabbage soup diet. Actually, it didn't do much for my weight but it really made me feel better. Probably because I have never eaten so many veggies in my life lol. Anyhow, need some support and am here to give it as well. So keep with it and make sure you take the time out for the exercise. If you need a buddy I would be glad to help out.
Hey cuz--I'm so glad you suggested I join! I know I won't *officially* be joining a weight loss plan until the first of the year (everything will start over and I can feel like I'm taking my life in a new direction all at once, not as leftovers from an old year if that makes sense), but when I do, it's nice to know I've already got some built-in support.
Way to go on your current weight loss! Keep going!

Good luck with that...my sister, mom & sister-in-law have all done Weight Watchers, but my sister-in-law is the only one that's done it recently...she seems to like it & is looking great....keep at it girl! You can make it!

Thanks, so much Michelle! Good heavens...I feel for you! I'm glad the cabbage soup diet at least made you feel better (sometimes that's half the battle!). I would love to buddy up! What are your goals?

Hey cuz! I'm glad you got on board & I hope it helps you, too! And, I think it's totally cool to start over with the new year...especially w/ all going on with you, but yes...the support is already here for you when the time comes! *hugs*
I just wanted to post how excited I am...I've lost 7 lbs!!! And, that isn't even the biggest part of it. I had a heart attack at 160 lbs. over 2 years ago, and am now below that weight! Yay!!!!
