Hey!!
Miggles~~That is a great idea to eat before parties...I did that on Sat and didnt eat as much as I thought...

Oh and yup we have Harvey's...I LOVE THEIR VEGGIE BURGERS!!!!!!! At least it not McD's at the Zoo, Harvey's I think is the healthiest of burger joints (they actually have good grilled chicken...)
Practicing your life drawings is aperfect way to occupy yourself during the food filled holidays!!! I use to draw in highschool, but have not done much since...kinda sad really...I was not too bad at it...but sucked at drawing people haha...oh well...I have since gotten in to photography...its so relaxing...lol
well I should stop chattering...later girlies!

Drawing is fun! I took a long walk to the art store to get myself some watercolour paper (background painting! whee!) And i even passes a McDonald's with my nose in the air. Wah ha! And funny you should mention that because it used to be McDonald's at the zoo
Anyways after my walk i came back and hopped on the scale and BOOYEA! I didn't gain weight after all! I so lost weight! lol! 2 lbs! And now i will have hot apple cider. Woot! (yes everyone uses this carrot, but its bloody hallarious!)

I was so pleased with the dinner im about to eat, that i doodled it (and my corn got cold). Whee! I was feeling reaaaaaaally lazy and didnt want to cook, and we'd just gotten a whole whack of veggies and fruits. So Meh, i though. And i cut my veg for two whole minutes and came up with : My Dinner.

* please note, i didnt not eat a farmer. And i swear to god this is not the extent of my talent. And that splat is Baba Gahnouj, if it can't be read!
** I also fought a hobo for my quarter to get a shopping cart. Just kidding!

Well, this semester I have certainly gotten off track. This summer when I lived in FL, I watched what I ate and ran 3 miles each evening. Then after moving back to NC, working 25 hrs a week, and carrying a full load in school, my diet and exercise fell to the bottom of my list. Therefore, since I have a month break, I am determined to get back into shape and get back down to my orginal weight of 130!

Thanks for the motivation...

Oh, if only I'd seen this sooner! It would've inspired me! I'm a female college student and it would've been great to lose 10 pounds by the holidays, especially since a lot of weight is gained around this time.

PS: I haven't been to these boards since May '05! I just found the link in my favourites and had to go through the little process of figuring out the password/username again. Hahaha. Hopefully I'll stick around longer. I just updated my ticker. Eep.

If anyone falls off you can always buck up and start again. Im planning on carrying my diet over into the school year - it will be harder, but with tupper ware hopefully it'll work out better than last time! Ha!

Woot! Merry things! My family is all meeting up at my Mum's house this afternoon for turkey dinner, and this morning i was weighing in at fractionally less than 130 lbs.. WOooooooo! We'll see how much i pack on by the end of the day though :P My sister has put her pastry cheffing skill to use and has made an apple custard tart. 0_o sounds potent. And who am i to deny grave twice a year.. *chuckles* (poutine is evil and should not be served at family restraunts, im telling you :P ). SO yes. One afternoon off track but i think i'll be okay tomorrow! This morning im eating a fantastic portion of cantaloupe so the day is off to a good start! Now for breakfast part two! Cheery bye for now, and i hope everyone does well over the next few days! Something tells me Santa might bring me chocolate like he does every year *weep* he's so good to me... lol! Take care and I look forward to hearing about everyone's weekend!

Well! That wasn't so bad! I woke up fairly close to the time we were supposed to leave for my mum's house, so i didnt really get breakfast for lunch, but i snacked on the stuff my mum put in my stocking (clementines, nuts and gingerbread - with chocolate), so that really wasnt so bad :P She also gave me a small bottle of Bailey's... which proves that after several years of choosing not to drink, she still doesnt realised i dont like the taste of alchohol... *chuckles* oh well.. it was the thought that counts! Anyways I did have a slightly massive plate of turkey and the whole speil, because i was HUNGRY! I also had a tiny slice of apple custard tart that my sister made (i was obligated to eat it!) and some icecream which chocolate swirls, which i can never resist. But i came home without a scrap of leftover! Horray!
I hopped on the scale this morning and im still 130, which is a good sign - and now for some cantaloupe! I hope everyoen else had a fine time and enjoyed one day of slight guilt free indulgance! tootles for now!

Okay okay.. so i think im starting to fall off track.. lol! I touched bases with some people i knew in grade 8 and we went out to an indian buffet. Butter chicken. Buffet. Need i say more! Im going to try and be good for dinner (ive beend doing well lately, with load of veggies and fruit as full meals) but damn. It was good. *laughs* Im also thinking about getting a digital scale also, partly for the leg work, partly cause im sick of re adjusting the little dial thingy to 0 every time i hop on, and wonderng if its right! lol! Soooo.. where do i go about finding one! 0_o Uh.. something tells me shoppers drugmart has a very limited selection of scales... and does anyone know what price range i could be looking at?
I hope everyone's doing well, and keeping their spirits up! Cheery bye for the mo!

Okay well geez. I fell off the wagon alright. Ive encountered some problems with my stomach and have been to the doctor, and of course being sick and not knowing whats going on has be kinda stressed out - thus, more fooding. Ugh. Stupid comfort food. Why does it have to be so comforting! lol! Im afraid to hop on the scale after this week. Hopefully I'll know whats up in a week or two, but until then, maybe i'll take it easy... 5 out of 15 lbs ain't bad though is it? Perhaps a Back to School support group will pop up if im feeling up to it Anyone interested? I go back to school on Jan 9th! Tootles for now!
