Talking New to this NOT New to Diets!

Hi,
I am a 42 year old newly widowed woman. I have been overweight almost all my life. There were times I was thin but not the right way. I need to lose about 95 pounds to get to my goal. Since my husband has passed away I realize how important this is to my kids. I need to be here for them. I have done so many things. This time I am trying to combine a couple of different plans. I joined LA weightloss but can't keep to thier plan always. So I am using thier suppliments and support (3times a week) and weight watchers plan. I also have started walking. I NEED to do this. Please help me do this. I know if I have someone to do it with it will work. Thanks in advance for your support. Holly

Hi Holly and welcome. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine .... You seem tho' to be taking it well in stride and learning from even the most greivous lesson. Congratulations on deciding to be healthy and strong for your family.

Congratulations too on finding the "Holly" plan. The food that works for you.

Read around a bunch. There's lots of friendly people, lots of good advice. You'll certainly find warmth, caring and support here.

Hi Holly, I'm so sorry for your loss. But I admire your determination to get on for your family. I know you can get some good information here. Check out the recipes and the information sites. You mentioned that you were doing WW. Have you checked out that site yet? And walking is an excellent exercise to start with.
