hey everybody (: new to 3fc


  • ive seen lots of lots of weight loss sites but this one caught my eye. 3fc seems to have a sense of humor, which is right up my alley.

    anyways, heres my deal.

    ill be 18 next month, and im starting college in the fall. im almost 6 foot (5'11 and 3/4 if you wanna get technical) im around 230 and my current goal, for now, is 190. im big boned and tall.. so while 190 is extremely unheathly for some people, its not all that terrible for someone of my size and frame. i lost some weight back in march/april and i got a new job in march at a daycare and got sick, got lazy and fell off my cycle. i started going to the gym last week and hope to continue to lose weight and get healthy.

    some companionship would be nice (;

  • Hi hotpink! Wow, you are tall! It's good that you are setting realistic goals for yourself, considering your height. I'm 5'6" and weight 238 currently, i got as low 194 from 263, then back up to 245. BOOH!! LOL. So i'm working on it.
    What will you be studying in college? I'm going into my 2nd year of nursing.

  • finally, a reply (: im going to be taking early childhood development classes. im getting my schedule make (finally) on weds. im not sure which classes but, i want to work with children.

  • As much as I like children, I think working with them all the time would drive me nuts! LOL That's one area of nursing i dont want to be in peds, but more because i dont think i could stand being around sick kids, i would feel so sad all the time.
    on a weightloss note, i went to the doc today and my blood pressure was good. High blood pressure runs in my family and mine tends to get a little high when i'm overweight.
    I guess the exercise has helped. I'm going to weigh myself on sunday. I hope (crosses fingers) I can be good til then so i can lose a few more pounds!!
