Default New here!

Hi, everyone! I just joined up (obviously!), and I am really looking forward to the support that is offered here. I just started back on a low-carb diet on Monday (though I ended up cheating that night! ), and I have already lost 3 lbs. My goal for now is to get to 180 (started out at 242). I have always been heavier than I looked, so 180 would be great for me. I have been on a low-carb diet before, and I lost 35 pounds--then I found out I was pregnant, so I had to put that on hold. My daughter is 7 months old now, and I am finally getting serious about losing weight again. I think it will help to be on a support board such as this, so I am really looking forward to this!

Default Hi!

I am new here too and as I was reading the posts learning how the board works I ran across your post. You sound JUST like me I am a 34 yo SAHM that has LC before. I lost 60 pounds, and then became pregnant and gained pretty much all of it back. I have three children, two daughters who are 15 and 10 and an 8 month old son who will be 9 months in a week. And I also have decided that I have GOT to get this weight off. I have finally come out of the fog I have been in since I had my son. I had PPD for awhile and did good to just get out of bed and take care of my son; much less take care of me. I am so excited that I have FINALLY woke up and got remotivated to lose this weight. I started back LC this week and so far have lost 4 pounds. Congrats to you for taking the first step too!! If you would like to buudy up let me know. I know I need all the support I can get too, especially since we are going to go on vacation next week to Florida. I am so going to have a hard time sticking to plan. But I WILL do my best.

Debbie

Hello All, My name is connie and I would love to join your group. I am a third grade teacher and I started counting calories the first week of June and have lost 13 pounds. I am trying to pack as much nutrition as possible into 1200 calories a day. I need to lose 76 more pounds. Sweets, Sweets, SWEETS are my problem. I could live on them and they are my weakness.

Megan, I loved your scripture. I am keeping a dialy food and prayer journal. I think divine intervention is the only way that I can do this. Excersize is the hardest part of this for me. I hate it and know how bad I need to do it and that makes me feel lower than a snake when I don't do it. Oh well, my bag. Good luck girls.
