Hey Julie,
I am pretty new here but I have tried every diet under the sun and I have been successful at all but then later gained it back. I went to the doctor three weeks ago and my Doc asked me to try it her way. Which is:
No eating after 8:30.
Water to drink only
Exercise 6 days a week
must eat three meals a day
three snacks
switch all food to light or ff
must eat food on small plate
I laughed my butt off at her and said I will try it. I lost 10 the first week and 6 the next. I weigh in on Mondays. What, gives I haven't been hungry once?
I can do this forever.

Hi Vicky(saw you over on Alexias thread) Hi Julianna,

Vicky, I think thats great. 16lbs in a couple of weeks. woo hoo
I think your doc has the right idea. I'm trying not to do anything too drastic right now. I'm going to try the lower fat version as you are. I'm finally over this binging phase I've been and with the new meds, I'm trying to just eat normal to see where my sugars are. They say 3 smaller meals with a snack between, keeps sugar levels in line. Maybe thats why you don't have hunger.

Now I have to ask..Japan? Wow. What's it like? I've only left the country once and that was to go to Aruba. Not much of a traveler.

Take care.

Hi Donna,
It is so good to meet you. Lynn has been looking for you. I am so glad that you are back. My mother-in-law has the same problem with her sugar and now she gets the shots in the belly. She is doing much better. Your sugar really effects your weightloss and you being hungry.
I am down another 3 pds this week. I can't believe it.
We are here in Okinawa because hubby is military. We have been here about 4 mths and we love it. The people here are so sweet and they never get mad if you don't know the language. I had never been out of the states much less the east coast before now. I am originaly from Ga. The weather is about the same here. But there is a nice breeze here.
Stay strong and don't go anywhere. This is the place you should be when you need us the most.
