Default Hello!

Hello! I'm Dawn and I am starting Body For Life tomorrow, June 13th. I am 29 and I live in NC. About 2 weeks ago I got lucky and found a small job in the childcare center of a local gym. I get to take my kids with me and workout for free. So, I have been frustrated about my eating habits and my weight since December when my second son was born. I just want to "wish" & twich my nose and be a size 8...8 that's all...not a 2...just an 8 would work...and lose about 80lbs.

My husband says...well you have no excuses now...at first it made me mad but then I thought~ He is RIGHT. 12 weeks...I can do that...I carried a baby for 40, 12 will be nothing.

So, I'm trying to gather all the support I can, make my weekly meal plan and workout plan, then dive in tomorrow morning.

You can do it...you're lucky that now you'll have the tools to accomplish your goals. I used to make excuses that I couldn't get to a gym to work out but discovered that I can work out at home...it's not easy, it take discipline...but I can do it. I've started out slow and trying to build up. It's hard work to stick to my plan (WW). The first week was easy because I was super motivated but the following weeks have been tough...I like to eat and I eat when I get stressed so now I'm trying to find other things to do when I get stressed...it's like re-programming my brain. I know it will be worth it in the end if I stick to it....a little quote I like to remember is "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels"...I try to remember that when I'm having a bad day. I know you can do it too, good luck!

Default Hello

I have a Logan, too! But I have 7 kids!

I am starting my own version of BFL tomorrow...without all those supplements! ^ small meals of good clean eating and the exercise portion of the program...probably modified at first due to my sedentary state as of late! But no more!!

I work in a daycare and get to take my kids to work, isn't that awesome??? The daycare owner also owns the gym, so I get a discount!

Good luck! Keep in touch!
