Red face Newbie Here

Newbie Here.

My name is Kay and I am the typical diet person. Been there done that. I am going to do WW again. I love WW but I also LOVE food and sometimes that wins over will power.

I live with my dh and dd in Indiana. We also have 1 dog (retired K9 German Shepherd), 2 cats and a bird. Yep I feel like I live in a zoo sometimes. My dd just graduated from High School so we are now into a new phase of our lives. I work outside the home as a Planner for our local city government. I collect Longaberger Baskets, Vera Bradley purses and scrapbook.

My dh is diabetic so I really need for this to work this time - for both of us. WW diet will be good for him.

Look forward to hearing from everyone.

Hi Kay...just wanted to welcome you. I'm on WW too. Love it. I still have a ways to go.
Thats interesting that you have a retired k9 dog. My husband is leaving for Indiana on the 17th. He's going to the Vohne Liche k9 school there. I know he'll love it.
Anyway, its great that you and your husband are both doing WW. It will really help to be on the same page as the person you live with. My husband eats JUNK. Ugh...its so hard sometimes.
Good luck with WW.

Love,
Deanne

Thanks for the warm welcome.

CV - I'm sure your hubby will love it there. That is where our dog, Bart, is from. My dh is a retired police officer but not K9. We stumbled upon Bart as the current owner couldn't keep him any longer. Been the best dog ever. If you and your dh ever come to Indiana (Muncie) for K9 Olympics, let me know, I would love to meet up with you out at the Lodge.

Again, thanks Marti & CV for the warm welcome.

Thanks Kay...My hubby has been wanting to go to K9 for so long. Finally, his company offered it to him. I think he wants to do the narcotic training but for right now just explosives. He works for a defense contractor and they dont need the narcotics dogs.

Welcome again.

Love,
Deanne
