Thumbs up Welcome

Welcome to the board Tara. I tried Atkins (which is similiar to South Beach) but I found that I LOVE Carbs and I was having major problems not getting my Carbs.

I'm currently on Weight Watchers for the 2nd time and am taking the SLOW road to weight loss. I rejoined 10 weeks ago and have lost 8.2 lbs. I would like to lose another 20 at least but don't know if it's possible.

I'm getting ready to turn 41 and my metabolism seems to be slowing WAY down! I've got to figure out a way to speed it back up.

Everyone that posts is very helpful and a lot of fun. I just love reading their stories and advice. Check out the online journals if you haven't all ready.

And way to go on your current weight loss!

Thank you!

momasita-I did WW several times & I just kept giving up. I hated counting points. I really believe that everything works different for people & you gotta go with what works for you WTG on your loss!

Default You're are so right

Tara you are so right in that different things work for different people. As I said, I've done WW before but I'm having much better success this time around. I know that it's all a state of mind -- once you decide to do something there is nothing that can stop you.

Best of luck to you on your new journey!
