Wink Curves workout buddies...

Hi I'm new here and I am trying to lose between 30-35lbs. I am currently enrolled at Curves and would like a few workout bodies to help keep me motivated. I've gained 27lbs in the last three years and I just can't seem to stay on track. I've tried all the diet pills you can think of and learned the hard way that if I really want to lose this weight I'm going to have to start eating right and excersing. So right now I am currently working out at Curves and walking. I am also using the Curves low carb diet plan.

T625 - Welcome! I do curves 3 days a week and I love it. First w/m is tomorrow. If you go to the exercise site there is a curves post in there

welcome, tee625!

i used to work out at curves 6 days a week and do atkins. in one month i dropped 2.5% bodyfat, 7 lbs and 7 inches. that was my best month ever! i was also working two jobs and taking care of my son at the same time, so it got to me after a while and i had to go down to 3 days a week. currently i am doing lots of walking and atkins. it's only been two weeks and i'm alreayd down 5 lbs.

6 times a week?! The ladies at my Curves location would tar and feather me if I even suggested it. I snuck in a 4th this week by taking a visitor's pass to the other location. LOL!

I just started May 5 and have gotten in 9 sessions so far. I think I'm the only one there that's "gaining" weight though. LOL Being 5 months pregnant right now, they're not bothering with weighing me or taking my waist measurement. They're just doing the arms and thighs.

I joined Curves last year on my Birthday (my gift to myself)....I really enjoy it but find it hard to get 3 workouts per week (work conflicts)...I love the feeling I get when I complete a workout....almost empowered....

Wow I wish I could make it in 6 days a week. The days I can't make it, I do try to get some form of a work out in, a Taebo tape or a walk if it's nice outside. I don't feel as though I've lost anything yet though. I just started the low carb diet two days ago and I'm missing sweets already. I found some low carb ice cream bars only 9g so I'm going to eat one of those and hopefully it will cure my sweet tooth cravings.

i was only able to work out 6 days a week for about one month. it run me down really fast. if you want to see results really fast then work out a lot and be very strict with the lc diet. but if you don't want to burn out, don't do what i did. LOL
