Talking Looking for new WW BFFAA

Hi!! I am hoping to find a group of losers to chit chat with about weight loss and whatever else comes up. I really feel like I need a lot of support. I guess you could call me needy. Haa Haa Haa.

I am 36 years old. I've been Overweight and I've been happy with my weight. I spent 4 years in a very happy weight place recently. But then I got pregnant and went completely crazy eating horrible. I gained A LOT of weight. If that wasn't bad enough since my DD has been born (getting close to 2 years) I have put on an extra 15 pounds. No not lost. Gained

I am married to a great guy (even though he is supportive of me eating junk). I have a 9yo DS and 20 mo old DD.

I can't take being overweight even one more day. Every day I stay heavy I get more and more sad. I don't do anything with my family and I won't even look in the mirror long enough to put on makeup most days. It's gotten BAD. I want to be happy again. I want to play with my kids and go out into public. Pathetic aren't I???

I have been following the WW plan. I REALLY have. Kept track of eveything. Then I had my first weigh in with a huge ZERO for loss or gain. Stayed exactly the same. I promised myself I wouldn't get down and give up. But the past few days I have been binging. I have 98 pounds to lose. I would like to lose it by March 11. Yes I mean next mo. Haa Haa. So what has this accomplished. More weight induced depression. So today I woke up VERY EARLY 3:30 am. I have decided to get SERIOUS again. I am going to make being here my new hobby. Hope thats not too pathetic. I think it will help me.

So that is my morning rambling. I really hope to develop a strong tie with other FAT CHICKS. Hee Hee. I'm going to be here a while. I've got a long way to go. Have a great day. Hope to hear from lots of you.

Your fat chick bud forever

Smile I can relate

I have been trying to get off a few pounds (ok, 15 that has now turned into 45) for a few years. I successfully lost my pregnancy weight on WW a few years back and slowly it has creeped back on. (My youngest is now 6). I have not completely gained all the weight back, but I am on my way.

I am 38. I excercise 4-5 times a week. But, my eating needs addressed. I have had some major medical problems which has worked against my metabolism. Yes, it is true, the older you get the harder it is to lose weight.

Anyway, I am very frustrated, yet very motivated. I have tried many diets and WW seems to work the best. I would like a buddy though.

I have been on the points plan, but have recently switched to the core plan. What plan are you on?

I am on flex. How do you like core. I am going to try to start making better food choices and still count points. Like choose from core list but count points. Because I can easily eat my points every day and have eaten nothing but junk. Maybe that will help my metabolism.

And that is a good way to describe me. Frustrated but motivated. I just need to get rid of the frustrated. the only weight loss that ever worked for me is counting cal and fat grams. WW seems to use those principles but does not encourage starvation. So I hope it works. I think it will if I don't give up.

I am anti exercise. Blah. So I am always impressed with people like you who seem to just do it. I need to just do it. Make it part of my life.

I definately need a buddy. I will keep checking in. Keep in touch. Hope to hear from you soon. Email me anytime also.

I switched to Core because I make poor choices on Flex plan. This way I eat more fruits and veggies. If I eat low sugar/low fat that is what works.

I started excercising the first time I did WW about 5 years ago. My main motivation was that I could eat more. I started walking on a treadmill in the playroom. I would watch tv or talk on the phone because I hated it. Then one day I started to run on it. I only ran .25 miles that first day. Mainly, I just wanted to get the workout over quicker. Gradually, I built up to running 20-30 minutes, which cut my workout in half. After a year I got burned out running and joined Jazzercise. I hate to exercise! But, I love to eat.

My husband and I are going out tonight. Eating out is a big challenge for me. I am not fast food person, I just like to eat big portions. Not sure where we are going yet.

Eating out is difficult for me. I also like big portions. But I have a weakness for fast food also. I guess I have a weakness for all food

So far today I am having a horrible day. My son is making me insane. I have had nothing but problems with him this week. But I have stayed OP today even with all of the stress.

Enjoy your dinner. Have fun with your husband.

Have a great night.

Default I'll be your buddy!

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to write and say hi, my name is Anna I"m 36 yrs old married and mom to 3 children (ages 12, 9 and 8) I work part time (35 hrs per week) as a receptionist for a counseling agency. I am following the weight watchers flex points plan, I attend weekly meetings which helps me ALOT, I know its expensive but I need that MOTIVATION and PRESSURE of a weekly weigh in. I joined on January 11th, 2005 and started at 260.4 lbs. and as of my weigh in this past Tuesday night I was 238.2 so I've lost 22.2 lbs. I can't explain the way I feel I actually BELIEVE I will lose this weight this time. I am 5'8 and my goal is 164 lbs.

Believe me I have tried everything out there, and every pill imaginable but ww really works if you work hard at it. I have slacked a few times but I've not gained yet I've had a loss at every weigh in, this past weigh in I only lost .8 but hey it was a loss so I was happy. I started out in a size 22 jeans and now I'm in 18's that are getting loose! (I also have one pair of 16's I can get in!!!) My husband was totally against me joining ww at first because I have tried and failed so many times but he sees now how serious I am about losing this weight that he's proud of me now. At one time he had told me if I brought another piece of exercise equipment into the house he's leave......LOL...cause it always ended up being a clothes rack etc. But now I have joined a gym and exercise at least an hour per day 5 days per week, and he even went and bought me a recumbant exercise bike last week for $115!!!! So that says alot for him and for how far I've came already.

22 lbs. may not seem like much when I have 75 lbs. to lose yet, but I had high blood pressure at my highest weight and my bp was running 150/99 most times and I was on bp meds, since I have lost the 22 lbs. my bp is normal without meds and it runs 117/77 most times now. So just losing a little bit can help your health tremoundesly.

I didn't mean to ramble on but I want you all to know that you can do this, no matter how many times you have tried and failed in the past, you can do this but you have to do it FOR YOU. I'm here for anyone that would like to email back and forth (I don't get to the boards that often but check my email everyday several times per day). Feel free to email me at jordyn1968 at hotmail.com

Everyone take care!
