Hi, new here from NC
My name is Charlie. I am 29 years old and as of today I weigh 260.8 lbs. I started my diet on 1/9 of this year. I started at 265 even, so I've lost a little more than 4lbs. My goal is to lose a total of 100lbs.
A little about me: I am married and I have 1 biological child and currently one foster child. I was diagonsed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in April of 1997. Back then, it was treated as just an infertility diagnosis, and I took meds to concieve my daughter. My new OB is treating as the metabolic disorder that it is. For that, I take 2000mgs of Metformin a day.
I read the Dr. Phil book, and I watch his show sometimes, and I believe what he says about changing my relationship with food. That's what I am trying to do. I don't want to look at food as entertainment anymore. I am on a reduced calorie diet, eating between 1200-1350 calories a day. My goal is 2 pounds a week. I go to Curves 2-3 times a week.
I have read some of the posts here, and I know that this board is a wealth of knowledge and support. I'm looking forward to getting to know you.
