I am L. Anne Carrington, a freelance journalist and a student (studying as a double major in criminal justice and psychology), but you are all welcome to call me Anne. I started my journey 22 months ago, and even though I've done well for myself weight wise so far, I have had backslides (haven't we all?) and decided it was time to get back on track a week ago. At least I got off the additional 10 pounds I had packed on over the holidays...lol.

I'm also being considered for WLS; which is another reason I am trying to get down to a decent weight; I have one more routine test to go as well as need to get 12 months of medical notes from my doctor for the surgeon to mail everything in to the insurance company. Whatever it takes, I WILL get to 150 pounds (I can't see what is so great about being a size 2---I'll be happy in a 10 or 12 any day!).

I started out in a size 30/32 (in some cases a 34), and now am down to a 22. I'd like to get into an 18 by summer...but I'm taking it one day at a time.
