Exclamation looking for support

hi, my name is katie and i just joined 3fatchicks.com...I have been struggling with my weight for about 2 years now. I gained about 50+ lbs in the past 2 years and now I need to lose it. I am 5'5 and weight 197. My goal is 140, and Im hoping to lose 2 lbs a week...my goal by July is to be able to look slim and trim and healthy at the beach (that is kind of my incentive). I am looking for a buddy to exchange emails and daily eating / exercising habits with....someone who can keep me motivated while i keep them motivated as well. I welcome anyone of any age/sex so please reply to my post or email me at [email protected]! I also decided to participate in the Valentines day challenge, and I want to lose 8-10 lbs by then! Hi Katie and everyone else!

I'm new here also! I'm 5'4" and need to lose about 80 lbs total, though I'm breaking it up in smaller increments so I don't get overwhelmed. I am 40 years old with two boys in school. I would also like to look good at the beach this summer. This past summer, I spent most of the time on our vacation sitting in my chair covered up from head to toe snacking instead of having fun. We also have a neighborhood pool that really tests your confidence - nothing like seeing all of your neighbors who have successfully lost the weight when you're fatter than ever!! I am on a reduced calorie eating plan (notice I didn't say "diet"), and am considering joining Curves - I have an appointment with them this Friday.

If anyone wants to buddy up with me, I'd love to hear from you.

Hi Katie,

I have just started my diet, it has been about 6 days now and i have list 3.5 lbs. I am trying to lose a total of 100 lbs. I would like to buddy up with you if interested. The things i really need to work on are:

exercising
drinking all of my 8 glasses of water
continuing to eat right and meet my calorie intake
not eating dinner so late
