Hey everyone, I'm new to this board and I'm looking forward to getting to know people and get some motivation to keep my diet and excercise up! I'm currently about 240 (I don't own a scale, but that is a good guess), I just had a baby, and I need to lose atleast 60 pounds. Holy crap, it sucks to see that typed out

! I'm 28, married, and 5'6". I'm a chef, but I need to learn new ways to cook that don't involve tons of fat and carbs - I learned from the French but I don't have their small portions!
Anyway, I'm hoping that there are some people out there who might like to buddy up with me who have a similar goal, and we can go through some of this as teammates!
Right now I own a treadmill and I've been walking a little, and I just got a excercise ball to use as well. It's actually fun to to push ups on that! I'm a MAJOR sugar addict, but one thing I have going for me is I don't drink soda and I try to have water around me all the time.
