Hi! I'm a 26 year old stay-at-home/homeschooling/college student Mom.. (just typing that makes me tired )... I need to lose weight, but can never seem to get motivated or keep myself honest. I'm prone to procrastinating and bouts of depression (having to do with my weight and lack of energy because of it, mainly. I really need a couple of people to chat with pretty regularly to help keep me motivated. I have a habit of getting excited about dieting and then just quitting. I don't have the time or money to really devote to a gym right now, so I'm stuck working out in my home or going walking, which isn't the most supervised way to do things, so I can be prone to cheating on doing things right. Sheesh, I sound like I need a babysitter more than buddies, don't I?

I've been fighting weight problems since puberty. It wasn't too bad until I had my daughter (6 years ago) and I didn't lose any weight after that.. then I lost my mom a couple of years ago and became very depressed, I put on another 20 lbs. or so and haven't taken it off at all.. I'm really discouraged at this point and I hate being like that.. I'm a pretty bright and optimistic person, but this has been taking it's toll on that- which is why I'm here. I don't want to become a sourpuss.

I just joined the Board myself and I am also looking for Buddies or new suportive people to meet ...Me myself I am 23 years old live in the Tampa Bay Area and I have been struggling with my weight for the past five years but this Time I am ready and I think this Board will help me .....So what you think? I would love to buddy up with you. I live in Texas. I homeschool my 3 children. I have been overweight for nearly as long as I remember. I know I have been since jr. high. By high school I was very bad, I am now in very bad shape and have to lose for my sake as well as my children's sake. They are trying very hard to be supportive and remind me to do exercise. Let me know if you want to buddy up.

I think i'm in the same boat. I am a horribble procrastinator... i keep thinking of all these diets and exercises i could be doing.. but never seem to follow through for more than a few weeks. i think some one to checkin in with would be a great motivator! having someone hold us accountable seems the best way to go for all of us procrastinators!! I need a buddy too. I'm stationed in Va, in the military, and mom of 1. I can't seem to get it together on the SBD, I'll get to day 4 of P1, and I let something set me back. What is wrong with me!!!!! ahhhhhh
