New from GA

  • Hi, everybody! I am 39 years old, mother of 3 boys, stay-at-home mom (for now!). I have battled my weight all of my life. About ten years ago I lost about 60 pounds by walking and starving. I kept it off for a few years and then started letting it sneak back on. When I went to the doctor last week, I topped their scales at 212. I am very discouraged. I do exercise on a regular basis and I started Weight Watchers in the spring, but I was losing so slowly that I got down and stopped going. I guess I'm just bored with worrying about it. Any one have any ideas to get me going again? I was very excited to find this forum.
  • Welcome to 3FC
I am also from GA! I have been hanging out here with the SAHM group and they are awesome. It is very motivating just to find the right support system! This has been a blessing to me and I hope it will for you too!

I am just watching my portions, cutting out bad carbs and exercising by walking 3 miles a day at least 4x per week. I really love to walk!

Feel free to PM me or IM me on one of the messengers, I use yahoo the most!

    Again...welcome!

    Blessings,

  • Hi... Im from Ga to. I actually live in Griffin which is about 60 miles south of Atlanta. I have about 100 lbs to lose. I try to mix up my exercise by walking, power 90, and taebo. I have really just started back so I havent had much time to see results but I have bought a really small pair of pants and a skirt that I want to fit in to. I am literally gonna have to work my butt off to make that happen.
