HI! Penny Bombshell where are you we miss ya well Penny sounds like you have been doing something for your self keep up the walking I start out with a plan but never follow thru hopefully you can pass on some ideas from the nutrition when you see them I am at a stand still but it is my own fault last night at work I ate constantly all night sweets I dont have any will power to stop my self well got it out of me so feel better well got to go so have a great day plan on going up the 4 flights of steps at work instead of the elevator so wish me luck Rita

Red face New today - looking for a buddy or two

Hi. I am brand new today. My CW is 240 on a 5' 4" body. I could use a little motivation and inspiration. I am not sure how all of this works, but it sounds like fun.

Great to have you aboard TippHillRn - I'm Penny and live near Buffalo. Tell us a bit about yourself.

I'm working on becoming heathlier. I am having difficulty making the scale move, but I feel better. I had a car accident in May which I going to physical therapy for 2x week. I am walking 2 - 3 miles 3-5 days a week, when my body will allow it.

Today's menu:

Fruit salad - raspberries, strawberries, kiwi with almonds
Protein Drink
Rice Pudding (made w/brown rice, splenda)
Grilled Chicken w/grilled veggies (leftovers from last night)
Grilled Shrimp w/grilled veggies
Maybe some popcorn to watch Big Brother tonight

I love to grill as you can see. All of the above is less than 1200 calories, even though the scale isn't moving I feel better then when I ate cookies & chips. I drink at least 128 oz of water a day.

I have found that if you write down what you are eating or planning to eat, it helps keep you on track, specially if you post it here.

GOOD morning Penny!!!!!!and welcome Tipp you are more then welcome as I am sure you will be helping us also so tell us a little bit about yourself!!!!!! Penny your diet sounds heavenly all that good food good idea in writing it down since I work nites I have a lot of problems in eating at the right time or what I eat well ladies off to my cleaning job going to start early today as I didnt work last night and I seem motivated so better go while I feel this way:LOL: so whatever you do have a greatday I did climb 2 floors yesterday and thought I was going to die:LOL: going to try for 3 today and try walking a fewlocks as my kneeis hutting today Rita

Hey Rita! Sounds like you are trying hard to get to walking up stairs again. Good job. Just got back from PT - so needless to say, a bit sore, but, not going to let that stop me from walking tonight.

Kids took off to go camping today, looking forward to a quite weekend for a change, which will be quite a change.

Bombshell - where ya at lady?

HEY Penny hope you are enjoying your weekend with the kids being gone :LOL: turned out to be nice today in Ohio a little chilly but at least no rain just taking it easy as I am recooperating from working my 12 hrs sure can tell that I am getting oldas dont bounce back as quick from working and not grtting enough sleep which usually happens if I work a few nights in a row did do my 3 flights of steps but it nearly killed me just wanted to do some kind of exercise so I did accomplish something this week and lost 1/2 poundwell hope your saturday is going well for you sure hope to hear from bombshell soon!!!!!!!!! Hi Rita - I did enjoy the peace & quiet. My daughter gets married in a few weeks, so I will have a ton of out of town company here.

Glad to hear you are working your way up those stairs. Just take it easy not to over do. Glad to hear your scale moved to. Wish mine would! LOL

HI! Penny !!!!!! Glad that you did have some peace and quite when the kids were going so you will probably be busy when your daughter gets married so I am sure things will be hetic I should not of spoke abot my weight I gained back the weight I lost so I am in the same boat as you well looks like it is going to rain any minute so I better get my clothes off the line before they get wet really been lazy this weekend havent even thought of doing any exercise sure hope I get more motivated tomorrow so have a great eveningRita

Hey Rita - My diet is the same - went to the nuturionist - she said my diet is fine just not enough calories. I don't know that I can eat anymore, so I will have rethink things. I have a lot of bulk, just not many calories. Ya eat things that are good for you and then you get, well you need more calories. Don't know what to do.

Jump back on the wagon, it's not to late. A few candy bars aren't going to kill ya!

Good Morning Ladies - Hope everything is well. I'm starting to really worry about some of you guys. It's like you just disappeared.

Rita, put the chocolate down and step away It's fine to have a piece now and then. Change to the mini ones with no more than 2 at a time. Or dip a couple pieces of fruit in chocolate, that will save you some calories.

HEY Penny !!!!! I needed that I ate my last hot fudge sundae last night I made up my mind after I took my dogs for a walk I think I have really been on a pitey party for myself all week now it is time to start over really when I do eat choclate it is the small ones but just keep going back for some more so really going to try this weekend as I have to work hopeing you have a good friday the 13 and a great weekendwell it looks like we are going to have some so better get to my cleaning job so I dont get caught in it Rita:dance miss hearing from the others too just hope they come back!!!!!!

Good Morning Ladies - Hope all is well. No rain here this morning. It's chilly though (51). Looking forward to a much needed weekend. The troops being invading next weekend.

I'm getting a bit discouraged with no weight loss. I went out and bought a new DVD - CRUNCH SALSA CARDIO - this is an upbeat exercise DVD - I am still working on getting the steps down though. It's been alot of fun .

Where is everyone? Getting a bit lonely here. Have a wedding today and tomorrow going to George Carlin in concert - should be quite the weekend.

HEY Penny sounds like you have a fun planned weekend hope you have nice weather to go with it as Ohio is supposed to get in the 70 this weekend well my weekend is consiting of working got one down and 2 to go I feel that we have been deserted really miss hearing fom the other ladies also just hopeing they come back maybe when things arent as hetic for them they will come back hope you get those steps on the dvdsounds like funjust dont get discouraged about hitting the plateau it happens to everyone going to take a little walk but got to save my feet for work to night as I am on them for 8 hours now you would think I would be skinney but cant get below that 150 mark and stay there did noteat any choclate last night at workbecause there wasnt any in sight!!!!! well your big weekend is comming up so I know that you will be busy so enjoy this week!!!!!!!!!!!! have a great weekend Rita
