Introducing myself

  • Hello, everyone! I stumbled onto this website while doing a search on "weight loss." I've struggled with my weight for most of my life, and I'm just sick and tired of being sick and tired.

    I have AT LEAST 100 pounds to lose. Actually, I could probably stand to lose about 140 to get to where I'd like to be. I'm tired of having joint pain when I walk, having to haul myself up from a chair and then hobble across the room. I'm disgusted by the image I see in the mirror.

    I'd like to find a good exchange eating plan. I have the TOPS exchange plan, as well as the old WW Personal Choice plan. I also have some information on the DASH plan for hypertension.

    In addition to the weight, I have hypertension and I'm a cancer (non-Hodgkins lymphoma) survivor.

    I could use all the encouragement I can get!

  • Hi there, and welcome. If its encouragement you are looking for you came to the right place, this site is incredible, and all the people on it are amazing. I belong to a thread called "april chicks" its located in the Support category, stop in and check us out. We have all different woman doing all different diet plans, so I am sure you will find lots of advice and TONS of support.... Most of us are in this for the looong haul (I know I am ).
