Curt, Don't give up hope.

it may be a long slow painful process but you can do it. I started with about 100 pounds to lose last year. and have slowly changed my whole attitude about food. the way i cook, what i buy.( used to be all meat potato based southern fried badness now i try for veggie based, chick, lean beef as a smaller portion, and i watch the way i cook. cut out a lot of oil, steam, broil now) and walking, water these will help. if you need anyone to talk to I am here. and the people on these boards are wonderful.
