I'm 32 years old, Type1 diabetic, following SBD and started weightlifting @ 2 weeks ago w/ my husband. I walk 2 miles everyday and am slowly building up to running 1/2 of that. I started walking about 8 months and have lost right at 50 lbs. Now I'm trying to lose the last 10 and tone and build muscle. In February I'll be taking a Ramp class (has anyone else done this?) since I feel like I need variety as far as cardio. I'm looking forward to making new friends and getting lots of info from this wonderful site!
