Default Hi All!

I'm 32 years old, Type1 diabetic, following SBD and started weightlifting @ 2 weeks ago w/ my husband. I walk 2 miles everyday and am slowly building up to running 1/2 of that. I started walking about 8 months and have lost right at 50 lbs. Now I'm trying to lose the last 10 and tone and build muscle. In February I'll be taking a Ramp class (has anyone else done this?) since I feel like I need variety as far as cardio. I'm looking forward to making new friends and getting lots of info from this wonderful site!

Hi Rita! I'm hoping we can motivate each other. Some days it is so hard to exercise or not eat something I know I shouldnt!! I just tell myself that unless I work at it faithfully I'm not going to see the results I want when I want, lol.
