Default A cheat day helped my mouth!

Hi, I'm Barb and I'm new here. I had been experiencing a terrible "shredding" feeling in my mouth along with incredible hunger for the past couple of weeks...only hard candies (sugar-free) and water helped the sensation of heat and sloughing off in my mouth. I felt nauseous today and finally thought, I have to eat something besides my restrictive 1,000 calorie program on which I lost 30 pounds but lately has slowed down to nothing. So I had some Hershey chocolate kisses (5) and then my DH took me out to get a milkshake. And I realized I felt SO much better physically. I had a normal, healthful dinner of homemade chicken tenders dipped in applesauce, and my mouth feels normal and my nausea is gone. Has anyone had this side effect from dieting? I'm thinking my calories, which hardly ever go up to 1,000, are too low and now I am getting ill. Quite the introduction, I know, but that's where I am. Thanks.
