Hello everyone, my name is Ash. My current BMI puts me firmly within the 'obese' category. I've been struggling with my weight for a long time now, since I was 10 probably, and now I am 19.

I feel like I have been (and still am) missing out on a lot of things in my life and even though I have lost a bit of weight (thanks to moving away from home!) I've recently come back for summer and began to put it all back on .

Next year I am going on a year abroad, and I really don't want to be weighed down (haha) by all by insecurities about my unhealthy size. So I am using it as motivation to really push myself over the next few weeks (and months, and years) to really put my best effort into losing my weight once and for all!!

Hi Ash, I'm Chesney. Welcome to the forum. I'm kind of new here too and am still finding my way around. There are definitely some good resources here, and plenty of helpful people.
