Hello! I'm Melanie, I'm 31, married and a mom to a 4 year old boy, 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl. I've struggled with my weight for the last 20 years or so. I've tried many diets in the past but was never successful, the most I'd lose would be 20 lbs and then end up putting it all back on in a months time. I had a moment a few months ago where I was just completely done being overweight, I was at my all time highest weight and decided I was going to lose weight, I was going to make it happen. I changed my way of eating and my activity level. I've been doing really well so far, I struggle with binge eating which has made some days difficult, I keep note of my binge triggers and I'm getting better at fighting the urges to binge (of course, the urges have won a few times and I have binged). Anyway, I started my new healthy lifestyle/eating plan on March 1st of this year at 252 lbs and today I am weighing in at 200 lbs, I still would like to lose about 60 lbs. I happy to be here and hope to meet some other "friends" on similar journeys!
