New chick on the block!
Hi everyone!
I'm new and I'm just super excited to have joined a community of persons working towards a common goal. I can't wait to make friends and build up a proper support network.
So, a little about me: I just turned 32 in December, I'm a single mother of an amazing 7 year old girl. My starting off weight was 160+ lbs, that may not sound much to some of you, but I'm pretty short ( think slightly taller than a fire hydrant short)...so I was kinda hefty. I lost a good bit of weight and I'm down to about 128 or so (I was actually down to 121 but I let myself go for a few weeks so I gained some back) My goal is 115lbs.
It wasn't an easy journey and to be truthful most of the people around me are saboteurs, they literally discourage any more weight loss because they think I'm too "small" now and bring goodies like cake (yeah they're that sort). So I really wanted to connect with persons who understand and appreciate the challenges of losing weight and maintaining it.
Well that's it for now, I'm ready to reach my goal and help others do so as well. Go team!
