NEW to 3FC!
Hey everyone!
I'm new here and excited to have joined what looks like a great community!
A little about me...
I'm 40, married to a wonderful man and mama to an ENERGETIC 1.5 year old! I work full time and spend 2 hours a day commuting to and from work. That said- I struggle to find time for myself- which I'm sure is many of yalls struggle too!
I have 55 lbs to lose and I'm very motivated to do so as I want to be a healthy mama and be a good example to my child! I haven't always been overweight, however and I'm definitely a product of my bad decisions! =) I started gaining weight as I entered my thirties from a lifestyle of daily happy hours, eating out most meals, little sleep and spent my days at a desk. Repeat. It catches up with you!
That's all well behind me now, except for the 55lb parting gift =)
One of my larger hurdles has been making time for myself. I finally made the decision two weeks ago to carve that time out at the beginning of my day. So for two weeks now my alarm has gone off at 3am. (without exercise I get up at 4am) I sweat it out on my spin bike and shower and head to work. I've lost 5lbs so far!
So, I'm hoping to meet some folks with similar goals, lifestyles, struggles, etc. for accountability, motivation and whatever else that will help one another to reach our goals!
