I'm HanneCat; I'm a 21 year old university student from Australia
I've struggled with my weight since my last year or two of high school, and unfortunately continued on a downwards spiral throughout university; bit of an "all or nothing" mentality (e.g. whoops, broke my diet by eating a piece of chocolate. BETTER EAT THE ENTIRE BLOCK NOW
) coupled with a lot of comfort eating and trying things like crash diets, which always ended in big binges anyway.
Finally decided I wanted off this ride and wanted to try to lose weight in a healthier, more sustainable way. A couple of months ago I joined Jenny Craig as they had a trial offer going; 16kg for $16; which has been very nice and I feel has helped me get more on track with things like eating more fresh fruit and veggies, getting used to normal portion sizes and actually (shocker!) doing some regular exercise. I also feel like I'm getting better at ditching the all or nothing and trying to treat this as a journey rather than a quick fix.
I can't afford to keep up JC, so after I hit 16kg total I'll be doing it by myself, but I do so value support and accountability and thought this site looked wonderful
