Default My Second Chance... for the 100th time...

My name is Kim Wagley. I am 26 years old. I have about 100 pounds to lose. I am going to try the Metabolic Miracle diet. I have read a lot of great things about it. I am nervous about coming to the online forums. I am eager to make friends and cheer people on from the sideline. I hope to find some friends to keep me going. This isn't going to be easy, but I'm ready to make a change.

Hi Kim!
Welcome to 3fc!
We're about the same age with similar goals! I'm 24 with 70ish pounds to lose. We can do it! I used to just read 3fc because I was nervous about posting but I realized it makes it a lot more fun and effective when you do post, even if you don't very often. I'm hoping my changes will stick this time too! Good luck to us on our weight loss journeys! I hope to see you around the forum...maybe in the 20 somethings section?

I agree. I used to just read as well. It is more fun when you post. Good luck on your goals! They will be well worth it in the end... I will definitely see you in the 20 something forums!

Hi, Kim! I haven't been on this site for a LONG time -- just this morning was making some "affirmations" mentally to get myself back on track -- for the 100th time, haha. Yours happened to be the first post I saw, and I just wanted to give you a word of encouragement. My daughter and son-in-law are both on this diet and have done very well. Yes, they have struggled at times, but are learning how to make good choices and what some of their "bad" choices are doing to their health, sleep and overall well-being. Both have lost around 40 pounds. I think it's been about six months. They each have quite a lot more to lose, but at least the pathway is now looking bright -- as yours will as well. Good luck!
