Hello everyone!
I just started Ideal Protein on May 16, 2016, have already lost 16! pounds and am feeling SUPER motivated and hopeful for the first time that I will actually reach my weight loss goals! I came across this site doing a IP recipe search and I'd love to be a part of an online IP support group.
I've been a hard-working RN at a large teaching hospital the past 8.5 years and my weight has increasingly gone up each year of practice reaching an all time high of 221 lbs last August!! That was my tipping point (pun intended). I jokingly told people I had a work-related 'Cortisol stress belly" and have felt full of self loathing for years. It's time to take care of ME! Ideal Protein has been a Godsend. The weight is just melting off of me. I started at 209 lbs on 5/16/16 and am now at 194 lbs today with a goal of getting to 150 lbs. I've learned so much about myself on this journey and look forward to meeting new people on the road to self transformation!
