Default Current Information :)

I started out January 20th...I weight 266 lbs.

my current weight is 226.6 that's a weight loss of 39.4 lbs

I take Wellbutrin for Depression and was put on Topamax, to help with appetite control and weight loss and it worked.

I track my weight loss with my fitbit and it really helps. I try to walk whenever possible..and end up most days with at least 5000 steps.

My problem is , I was told that you can't lose weight or get fit only walking 1 mile a day at 2.5 MPH...but right now that's all I can walk without my feet burning to the high heavens. Im going to add some strength training...but what does everyone think...I end up burning at least 150 calories ever walk..and isn't that really the point of exercise, to burn calories? and I KNOW the walking also strengthens muscles and makes like your lower tummy go away...

Hey clreed,
I'm trying to force myself to exersise hm I know weight training willl speed up your metabolism and you'll burn fat doing nothing then and tones you up. I'll prob start that in a month or so Walking is what i'm trying first. Every little helps so doon't worry, i mean it's 80 percent diet so if you eat well you WILL lose weight even without exersise

Hello clreed. One thing I have learned in weight loss is not to become discouraged by what others say cannot be done, etc. If you are doing what you can, just keep on doing it and focus on the positive! ALL healthful eating and exercise is helpful. And I am sure you will find you will become stronger as you progress. Keep up the good work.
