Hey everyone
I hope to learn a lot from this great group of people to help me back on a healthy track.
Somehow the last 5 years, I managed to gain 30 lbs. Looking at it now, it was a lot of stress/anxiety over eating combined with lack of regular exercise. I've gotten to a point where I don't like to look at myself in the mirror and avoid them when I have to go to stores. My clothes shopping has become limited to tunic style dresses/loose shirts and stretchy tights. I have a box full of jeans/pants that no longer fit me sitting in a spare closet. Since leaving my stressful job recently, I have some free time to focus on myself, diet and exercise. I just joined the gym and have been enjoying the classes offered.
My biggest challenge will be giving up certain food addictions such as sugar, bread and cheese, but I'm looking forward to learning new options.
