I hesitate to offer any real "diet" advice because as you can see by my ticker I've succeeded and regained and am back to losing again, though, to be completely honest, I just can't seem to wrap my head around what I need to do to lose again. If I have any one piece of advice that I for sure know is helpful, it is to really peruse (at your leisure) the various threads on this site. I find them to be a constant source of inspiration and support. For instance, I lurk on the Maintainers threads
