6 years later, I'm back!
About six years ago I joined this site as an overweight, depressed college kid. It was really helpful (i lost 45 pounds). I'm now a mom to an eighth month old and gained so much during pregnancy, that I've been very, very slowly losing (plus some extra weight from beforehand). I was reevaluating things that were different than the last time I lost weight and remembered having a community helped.
I've lost 24 pounds so far, and am about 36 more from my goal. 5'7", SW: 195 CW:171 GW:135, 26 years old. I'm breastfeeding, eating between 1600-1700 calories. I run, use kettlebells, and some bodyweight/yoga stuff. My main goal is to be healthy and fit (mentally as much as physically), and to not be held back because of extra weight. Also, my SO and I want another kid and i don't want to start a pregnancy overweight. Lastly, I live in Houston now. Extra weight is no fun in this heat, especially when I don't feel comfortable in shorts.
