This is my 2nd day on the forum. I'm posting to share my weight loss back ground and get some advice.
About me:
I am college student who was formerly in an LPN nursing program but decided to drop out and now I am getting a Bachelor's in Accounting, which I love. I am a bit of a homebody and I love netflix and studying. My favorite things to do are spending time with my partner and my dogs.
Background info (can skip):
I recently was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. What seems like hundreds of different meds, along with my old habit of bingeing and starving has made me put on a lot of weight over the last 67 years. Not to mention that no one in my family is thin so I already have a genetic disadvantage.
Weight Loss Info:
I am currently 5'1.5" and I weigh 214 pounds when I subtract a couple of pounds for my clothes and the water I chugged this morning. I have tried every diet/weight loss method you can think of besides pre-packaged food and so I did the research and chose to order a trial month of the Wonderslim Core Plan. My logic was that it has amazing reviews, it's much more affordable than the other mail order diets, and it will take the stress out of finding food/cooking for me. My mom even looked at the plan and said it looked very similar to the Slim4Life diet, which she lost 108 pounds on several years ago.
So, I am just wondering if anyone has advice for me about being on the Wonderslim plan, and what your results are.
Hi Jensmarty!
I don't have much advice to give, as I'm starting my diet tomorrow as well. I am 5'6 and weigh 298lb. I'd love to be your friend and we can start this journey together. It's always easier with a friend!

Go You!!!
I would love to! This journey will be about a million times easier with someone also trying to lose weight. My wonderful partner is currently on the weight gain journey, so it's hard for he and I to relate when it comes to food. What weigh loss plan are you starting tomorrow?
Well, I just joined a gym today, I'm hoping to go at least 3 to 4 times a week before work. I am aiming for a 1800 calorie diet. I know one of my biggest downfalls with food is that I tend to eat as much as I can of stuff I like cuz I want to taste it, so I keep eating after I'm already full. So i guess portion control will be my biggest battle in this. What's your plan?

I think going to the gym is a great idea and will result in weight loss if you do cardio and lift too. The 1800 calories is a great idea too because it's high but still in control, and it gives you wiggle room for treats so that you don't deprive yourself!
