Hi Jayne, my "secret" is...
I'm eating the same foods as I always do except this time I'm counting calories (portion control) and staying within the recommended limit to lose weight.
I used to only eat when hungry but now I eat something the first thing in the morning and every 4 hours until bedtime, this keeps the metabolism going and snaps my body out of starvation mode.
I've also been leading a sedentary lifestyle (jobless
)rotting in front of the tv, which has ultimately led to all this weight gain. I've invested in a treadmill and run 30 mins a day now and put the WiiFit to good use!
It's been a week since I started this new regime and it has paid off as I've lost close to 4lbs. I'm upping my calorie intake from 1000 to 1100 this week to see if I can still lose the same amount...watch this space.
