Red face New here!

Hello all!

This is my first time here, as a member though I've been a lurker in the past.
I am 26 just got my degree and in a state of self improvement, that includes losing this weight.
I've been overweight since my teens and and clinically obese. I got this way because I was never an active kid, and I turned to food to deal with my depression and anxiety. Of course, I was bullied, and dating wasn't something I really got into til I turned 24. Unfortunately I'm one of the few single women in her late twenties, as it seems that everyone else is happily married, so I'm in desperate need of good friends
I started a weight loss blog recently on YouTube ,but I don't think spamming like that is allowed on here so I've listed it in my profile if anyone wants to take a gander.

Congratulations on your degree! It sounds like you're ready to move on from using comfort eating as a coping mechanism, which is for the best! You're off to a good start!
