I was at a school play 2 weeks ago and the family sitting behind me had a young girl that was complaining to her mom that she couldn't see. I knew it was because I'm so overweight and spilling out of the chair. I was mortified and didn't enjoy the play as much as I would have liked to. The mom quietly ttold her daughter to sush but it was too late, I had already heard her. I spent the rest of the play trying to shrink myself. I'm sure a lot of overweight people are familiar with this. Anyway, I figured that's it!! I have to start eating healthy and start moving so on Friday May 15th I started low carbing. I'm keeping track of what I eat on a calendar page that I printed out and taped to the inside of one of the kitchen cabinets and decided to only weigh myself every Fri and have a cheat day everytime I lose 20lbs. By cheat day I mean increasing my carb intake with good carbs and NO PROCESSED FOOD!!. I was down exactly 5lbs on Fri 05/22/15 and I could feel my shorts a little more loose in the belly area.
My goal to to lose 130lbs and change the way I eat forever.

What a great start! I hope you have lots of success with your low carb diet. I am doing a modified version of the Slow Carb Diet and it's working very well for me. Quick-burning carbs and I just don't get along, but with this diet and a cheat day every week, we're getting along much better now, lol! I wish you the best of luck!
