
mmickey43! I am so glad you joined! You will find lots of support here! It appears the plan you are using is counting calories, since you are using myfitnesspal, and that's great. I know you probably want the weight to come off quickly, but like all diet plans, you will lose excess water at the beginning, so you may have a "whoosh" of weight loss in the first 2 weeks, and after that, it should even out to 1-2 lbs per week, and that's what you want. Slow and steady is the key to long-term weight loss. You are going to do great! I am part of a group under Chicks Up for Challenge who stay accountable by coming on each day and recording our progress and encouraging each other. It's a monthly challenge, and although the month of May is almost over, people can join in any time!
