Attempt #2
Hello everyone!
This is my second round on WW and I'm trying to actually get to my goal weight... or at least back to where I'm comfortable in my own skin again.
I was on WW two years or so ago and lost to total of 53 lbs, it got me down into the 180's. I was psyched!! Then I hit a plateau... for months. I got my blood levels tested, turns out that I was hypo with my thyroid and when they did the antibody testing, I have Hashimotos (they say). During that time, I was super stressed about paying the $50 and not losing, my upcoming wedding, and everything else that I dropped the program.
I got on meds, got married, still fit into my wedding dress, nothing exciting. My thyroid levels were hit and miss there for a bit, but they seem controlled for now.
But here I am, back up into the 200's. NOT COOL. My SI joints have been bothering me again recently and I have to lose weight so I can hopefully be comfortable again.
So I, along with one of my best friend/coworker, are back to WW. Hoping that this site will help me control my urges to give up, eat that entire bag of chips that is staring at my on the grocery aisle because I eat my emotions, and get back to losing weight.
