i didn't know where else to post this, but i was wondering... is there a way to set it up so that i get alerts sent to my email when someone comments on a thread i started or if they comment on one that i posted a comment on?? i'm just having a hard time keeping up with posts, so i haven't commented on only a couple.

Yep,

From the purple bar across your screen, select [User CP]
On that page, find the section Messaging & Notification
Within that, find Default Thread Subscription Mode
Among the options, select Instant email notification

Check to make sure the email linked to your account is correct (choose the edit email & password from the control panel under User CP).

Also check your spam folder.

i was never even able to find the messaging and notification section on the user cp page. i don't know what i'm doing wrong

ok... i've done that and if i'm reading it right, i will only get email notifications to threads i've subscribed to... which is just this particular one. it's just that there are so many threads on here that i'm afraid i won't be able to keep up with which ones i've commented on or not, so i hope this helps!
