Hello all. I'm new here and have been on weight watchers for about a week. I'm searching for motivation, inspiration and possibly a friend or two

I'm here too!!!!!

I have decided I hate WW so I am going a different route of calorie counting on MyFitnessPal and a new workout regimen, though I am trying to do that old slow-and-steady-wins-the-race thing :-)

Mostly, I am trying to put different systems in place in my life to enable me to do this with relative ease rather than always swimming against the tide and relying on sheer adrenaline

Hi ChicaCoy, Welcome! I am new here too but have already gotten so much support from Senior Members and Moderators I feel encouraged to stick around. I hope you find this true for yourself as well.

I tried WW back in the 90's but simply could not do all the math required (I am dumb that way). Now I am using MyFitnessPal, reduced my calories to between 1,600 and 1,800 per day plus added a two mile walk per day and it is working for me.

Have you done Weight Watchers before?

Take care!
