In 2009 I started losing weight through counting calories with a focus on whole foods nutrition and exercise. I lost 180 pounds in 1.5 years... Going from 377 lbs to 197 lbs.
I gained it alllllll back. I was a steadfast member here... I stopped coming.
Today I weigh 440 pounds.
I struggled with severe anxiety and depression.
I went on antidepressants. I started counselling. I learned the extent of sexual abuse I suffered at the hands of a great uncle when I was five. I gained all this weight back because I was terrified of the attention I was receiving.
I'm sorry to hear about your great uncle and what you had to endure and suffer. Maybe if you haven't already you should get some counseling so that you can move on and progress with your weight goal and not gain the weight back. What's your goal weight?
