Hi, Everyone - Just Joined

  • Hey

I grew up very skinny, and played sports for years.. then after a couple years of college, I began to gain weight slowly but surely since.
Now that Im in my mid/late twenties.. im determined to get back to the weight i was when I was a freshman in college.. I had a lot of muscle back then - Looking to look and feel great

I was my highest weight a couple of years ago when I took care of my father -- I left school and my job to take care of him for an organ transplant.. I lost a lot of my twenties taking care of him, and i was putting myself on the back burner. Now, two years after, I moved down south and Im finally doing things for myself.
Since moving into my new place, ive lost 15 lbs [i cant tell much, but i hear from my coworkers and friends]

I have two cats, single.. dating - but Im still very self conscious with my weight and whatnot.. All of my numbers are great except my actual BMI.. so I have some high hopes for this.
Im artsy craftsy [is that a word?] -- I love old movies and Im a big sports fan.. especially hockey

Anyways - Hi everyone . Im looking forward to getting and giving support to others on this journey

  • I cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs
  • New to this too
Hi everyone, I am new to 3FC and am on my 3rd week of the Ideal Protein diet. I have lost 13.7 pounds (officially at my weekly weigh-ins), but on my bathroom scale I have lost 18. For months I have tried to lose through diet and exercise, but the scale would not budge. Then I watched a friend drop over 30 pounds quickly and keep it off, so I decided to give it a go. What I have found is the low carb life style is going to have to be the one for me. I have set a pretty drastic end goal weight, but I want to live a healthier life and doing so in my humble opinion means having a heathy BMI. So, I begin my journey with you all. I look forward to the support and offering my support too. Oh and
