Default Here to walk the talk

Hello! I am from Australia, I have five kids and I don't want that to be an excuse for the excess weight I am carrying.

This is the first time I even thought about losing weight and I want to do it right. I decided I needed to lose weight when I saw the numbers, I had been deceiving myself. I thought I was the same weight as years ago when in reality I had put on ten or so kilos. I am now obese. I have always been overweight ( probably since about eight years old) but being obese scares me.

In the past few months I have lost about 6kg by walking, jogging and eating better. I am 2kg from not being obese but I am very happy to be under 100kg this year.

To be honest, I started walking out of depression. It helped to ground me. I want to be lighter so I can be faster and do longer distances. I know I won't be race walk fast but I think being lighter will help with my speed. So this is my main motivation I think.
