Unhappy ....Hello!

Hi,
My names Robyn.. I'm 24yr old female from the UK!
I weigh 18.2st and only 5ft5. I recently got engaged!!! So I don't want to be a fat bride but I'm also worried about my health too!

I've done slimming world but didn't last very long with it.. I don't really last long with anything and I'm starting to feel quite down with it all.

I did a big shop today.. lots of avocados, chicken, prawns, tuna, eggs, mixed prepared salad, soy milk, porridge oats and some fruit.. I'm trying to count calories as well as monitor carb intake as I think a lot of my weight issues are from comfort eating carbs (crisp, pastry, bread and potatos)

My day tomorrow currently looks like this:
40g oats made with water with 80g summer fruit berries
coffee with a dash of light soy milk

1 avocado mashed with 1 tin of tuna
on top of a leafy salad with a few cherry tomatoes
pepperami stick and a small portion of cheese

chicken breast with some boiled veg (sprouts, spinach, broccoli)

Ive ordered some low carb protein powder which should be here on Tuesday for days when I get quite hungry.

I'm trying to master "cloud bread" but failed in my attempt this evening!

I have a treadmill which I'm planning to do 2x a day for 30 mins at a time , increasing speed and time gradually when I'm a bit fitter as well as walking a lot more rather than catching buses etc.

I could go on lol but I'm sure your all bored by now. Would greatly appreciate any advice!!!

You can do it. Post reminders for yourself and write your goals down.

Hi Robyn! Can you add a boiled egg to your breakfast? If so, eat the egg before the oats. I say that because the protein will help offset the carbs if you are carb-sensitive. The rest of your menu looks fantastic! I think you have a smart plan. Good luck!

Hi Jaqui, yes I could add an egg to that particular day but not sure how I would get around it on the days where I have omlettes for my evening meals. I guess I could have a protein shake instead of an egg?

Hi Robyn! I'm new here too! Seems to me our goals are both pretty hefty (yuck, no pun intended) and with you calorie counting, and shopping list, I feel like we have a load in common! If you're using myfitnesspal, my username is Jakeysmrs! Please add me! If you're not using it, give it a shot! It's a fantastic way to keep count of calories, as most foods are pre-programmed in!
Good luck on your journey! lets get there, together!
