Hi, everyone! Newbie alert.
After being at a healthy weight for most of my life, I gained a lot during my college years and was about 35 lbs overweight for two years. It was a dark time and I was taking antidepressants which made me big in a very short period of time.
I made it my priority to lose weight the healthy way in 2012 by exercising and calorie counting. That worked like a charm and I lost 14lbs in four months and then 10 more during the next couple of months. However, I hit a plateau and stopped working out. I basically gave up since I was no longer seeing results.
It's been a year and a half since that and I have 10 more pounds to lose to reach a healthy weight.
I am 5'3'' and weigh 148lbs and would like to complete my weight loss in the next three months. I've come a long way from being 172lbs, but those 10 remaining pounds need to go as well.
Three months sounds like a reasonable amount of time.
Wish me luck, you guys! I hope we all make this year count.
