I have fallen off the wagon (the last few years

) BUT when I came to this board daily and logged my weight, my workouts and what I ate daily I LOST WEIGHT! 20 lbs in 2 months! I worked out on the elliptical mostly for about 30 minutes Mon-Thurs, sometimes a Sunday here and there but not many and I counted my calories. I was pretty strict with my eating so that may not have been very realistic, but let me tell you, logging in your daily progress is incredibly motivating! Congratulating others and sharing your stats helped keep me accountable. Sometimes I swear I would go to the gym just so I could log in my time in a thread and feel proud about it!
So with that said, if you really keep track of what you're doing and log it in the right threads I think you'll reach your goal! Its motivating to weigh yourself daily (for me anyway) and every time you log a good workout or a pound lower weight you want to do it again! It really helps you reach your goal because you gotta get that weight down and that time spent at the gym up!
I'll be doing it with you too! When I stopped going to the gym and stopped coming here I lost ALL my progress but I'm back on board. Almost didn't go to the gym today and then thought I better go so I can log another success!
