I'm New!

  • Hello Everyone,

I'm new! surprise! so a little bit about me and my experience with weight loss
I'm 22years old and had a gastric bypass when i was 20 "really young for said op"
a lot of people are surprised when they hear it, I started out at 388lbs pre-op It's been just over two years and i've just hit 220lbs and have really enjoyed my journey so far, I hail from England and have thought about becoming a personal trainer.. but my confidence with social situations isn't too good "working on it"

I've signed up really to meet people and most of all to help others realize that exercise can be really enjoyed if you set yourself goals, This has been a really long introduction.. some would say too much information.. sorry! I look forward to chatting to you all as well as becoming more motivated by your stories success.
  • welcome aboard! and if you scroll down the forum list a bit, you'll find the WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY forum - it's for anyone who's had surgery, or who is thinking about it. We have people who are 10+ years out, and folks who are starting to ask questions and do their research.

you've done a great job with your surgery - and it sounds like you understand that we still have to eat 'right' and excercise, but we can also live VERY well.
  • Thank you for the warm welcome and ill hop over and check it out and get acquainted with everyone soon enough.
